Keep your speaker in frame
EDIT A CLIP FROM FIRST CUT TO DOWNLOAD · PART 6 OF 8 · UPDATED 17 OCTOBER 2026
Make the picture follow the speaker, or choose a layout.
The Editor works on a laptop or desktop.
Steps
-
Select Layouts to see how the picture can fill the frame.

-
Select Letterbox to fit the whole picture in the frame, with bars at the top and bottom.

-
Select Blurred edges to fill the bars with a soft blur.

-
Select Follow the speaker to go back to the crop that follows your speaker.

If something goes wrong
- If Follow the speaker is greyed out, this section was framed without a speaker, so there is nothing to go back to.
- To frame one section by hand, pick it on the timeline, then select Crop… in the same panel.
- Your layout shows in the preview at once. Select Save to Library to put it into the clip in Library.
