Slow down or speed up a section

Play one section slower or faster than the rest.

Steps

1. Select the section you want to change on the timeline.

   

2. Select Speed in the timeline bar.

   

3. Select 0.5× to play the section at half speed.

   

If something goes wrong

• To go back to normal speed, select Speed again and choose 1×.
• If a speed is refused, the section would be too short to keep at that speed. Pick a smaller change.
